Golden Film Awards Honor 2018’s Best In Independent Film

Pasadena – January 15, 2019 – The US Hollywood International Golden Film Awards organization announced the winners of its 2018 awards on December 12 at a gala in Hollywood, California. American actor Conan Lee was the recipient of the Special Achievement Award for his true story screenplay “I Love Mom”.

The Astronaut, a film from Canada, was the recipient of the Best Picture award at the festival. Shannon Brown was given the Best Actor award for his work on the American film Every 21 Seconds. American actress Nyle Lynn won the Best Actress award for The Kids Menu.

The Best Director honor was given to Italy’s Fabio Cento for Gorchlach: The Legend of Cordelia. The Chinese film Blade of Law was also recognized as the best foreign-language film at the event.

The winners were chosen from more than 380 submissions from 28 countries and regional zones. The films included productions from many places around the world, including from around every continent. The awards included celebrations of various aspects of filmmaking, including writing, directing, acting, and production. Original films and documentaries alike were included in the series.

The Golden Film Awards is organized to promote various activities surrounding independent filmmakers. This includes supporting people who are interested in promoting various films around the world and to bring unique messages to audiences around the globe. The goal is to build bridges through film and to encourage creativity among people throughout the movie industry.

The ceremony was organize by Golden Film Award Committee and supported by various entities in the independent film industry.
